Apple Watch to capture those "shower thoughts". I have been carrying around these little 5" Field notebooks shoutout to Cal Newport for the idea of single use notebooks. However this feature essentially replaces the need. I should mention a widget/ app icon on the apple watch to add to compilation for quick access.

FYI We are pushing 1.7 to release later today on the beta channel (will roll out to the rest in the coming days to everybody once Apple approves it).

Nigel: Hi Nigel, we are still working on it and didn't want to hold back the next release, so it will be in the next batch all going well. We're pretty open - it is software development, so if things get delayed, they get delayed. We are working on the best UX for you folks and the watch OS app. When it is ready, you'll have access right away ✌

Jonny from Cleft AI I use my watch with the Voice Memos app to take quick notes (or sometimes longer meetings notes) when I'm not with my phone (like walking or running). My current workflow is pretty awkward, I then export the audio notes and upload them to Fireflies.ai for transcription + AI processing.
So basically that, quick notes without using my computer or phone.
