I like the idea of 'preparing the note for the platform you plan to share to'. For me, a lot of my notes so far have been rambling train of thoughts, which has then highlighted a number of to do items to follow up on.

Being able to extract a list of just the todo items, formatted in the appropriate fashion, would make it easier to share downstream.
