Cleft does OK for transcription but the AI would be extended by allowing some standard edits and allowing custom prompts

Work on the prompt that Cleft sends to AI for handling its own version of the transcription. I can never make use of this ‘Cleft version’ because Cleft too often ‘hallucinates’ and lengthens the note with its own annoying additions. Ggrrrrhhh! Developers, tell Cleft to “edit for clarity, remove repetitions and punctuate well WITHOUT adding unnecessary words.” There, I’ve done the prompt for you!

I really want the Obsidian integration - but this only works when the note is recorded on the Mac. Even if it is recorded on the iPhone and synced to the Mac it does not then get synced to Obsidian. Could this be added please?

Hi, I would love to use Cleft with my Mac Studio, but it does not pick up my microphone. My Mic is connected via a dbx 286s Mic Preamp/processor that is connected to a Focusrite Scarlett Solo [3rd Gen] USB Audio interface plugged into the Mac. This provides a solid audio signal which works on multiple other apps (Zoom, Screenflow, Teams etc.) however, Cleft does not detect the audio. Can you suggest a solution?

I would like to create a new note without recording anything in it and then drop in an audio file recorded elsewhere that then gets treated as if I had recorded it into Cleft

I love the already existing main lock screen widget but I’d like to also see one for the bottom section where the flashlight and camera buttons usually are. Likewise, I’d be great to see support for a control center widget as well.
